                        Welfare policies are designed to motivate stakeholders in higher educational institutions for learning in order to improve their knowledge, skill and attitudes.  Welfare measures adopted reflects the selfless contribution to the tremendous growth of the institution. The college promotes and practices the motto “welfare of masses” and adhering to this motto, college takes efforts and initiatives to develop welfare policy for the betterment of our stakeholders. The purpose is to create awareness among students and staff for quality education and professional excellence. The welfare policy attempts to provide welfare measures for staff teaching and non teaching and students. The institution effectively implements the welfare scheme for staff (teaching and non teaching staff) and students.

  1. Welfare Measures for Staff (Teaching and Non-Teaching)

The institution adopts effective welfare measures for teaching and non-teaching staff in order to reflect on the output and selfless contribution towards growth of the Institution. Besides intellectual and professional development, it also offers financial and health securities for its employees. The following measures are taken for the staff:-

 

  1. Avenues for Career Development and Progression
  • Incentive in the form of salary hike for the staff for completing their Ph D degree as per UGC Rules. 
  • Provision of Duty leave to attend conferences/workshops/seminars in National and international.
  • The faculty is allowed to use ICT, Infrastructure and Library for research.
  • On the Teacher’s Day, Teachers are honored for their academic excellence.
  • Provision of financial support to attend/organize National and International Workshop and Conference.
  • Teachers are allowed to attend Orientation and Refresher Course.   
  • The employees are sanctioned study leave for faculty improvement program.

  • Condolence letter is given when any member has demise in their family followed by ‘Silent Prayer’.

 

  1. Welfare Measures for Students

College nurtures students in building character to shape their future. The students are given opportunities to involve in the affairs of the college, working in partnership with the management and staff in planning and organizing college activities that contribute to self-development and community welfare. They are the voice of the student body.

  • Student Welfare Council is formed to solve the student related matter.
  • Students are encouraged to participate in social and extension activities for their all around development. 
  • NSS and NCC Unit of the institute perform the extension activities. 
  • Gender sensitization program is organized under sponsorship of NCW and MSCW.
  • Girl students are provided with ladies common room and sanitary vending machine.
  • Cultural Committee offers students to participate in cultural program throughout the year.
  • Skill courses are designed and implemented to improve personality of the students and create professional attitude.
  • Sports department offer active participation of students in all the games.
  • Career guidance cell is actively contributing in facilitating students with multiple career options.
  • Students are taken to field visit to industries and banks to study their overall working.
  • Educational trips are organized for growth of knowledge among students.
  • Teaching learning process is updated and upgraded time to time to encourage students to improve their learning skills for better understanding.
  • Scholarship guidance is given to the meritorious and economically weak students.   
  • The college celebrates the national days, international yoga day and social activities such as blood donation camp, Swach Bharat Abhiyan, Charity works etc. which make our students more responsible towards the society.
  • College provides insurance facility to all the students as per the policy of the management.
  • Add on courses are conducted by the college which enables the students to learn additional “certified short term courses”.
  • The college conducts annual sports meet for the students and give them the platform to exhibit their skills in sports.
  • The language lab provides space for language learning which help the students to improve their communication skills.
